Default C4 injector change

I put 24# injectors on my 88 vette...everything is stick except for that. Car seems to run fine, but I get 33 and 34 engine codes...also no quick response when i rev it up, slight delay then engine revs. Is there any changes I need to make because I went to 24# injectors? I found out later that it takes 22# injectors.

The engine will run rich in open loop mode with 24 lb. injectors because the ECM does not know that you have changed them. You can fix this by adjusting the fuel injector flow rate constant or modifying the fueling tables.

In closed loop mode the ECM will adjust the AFR, so it's not a problem then.

It depends. My 89 ran lean with Bosch III 22# injectors. I put in the 24# Bosch III injectors and the BLM's were dead on where they should have been i.e. within the +/- 10 range of 128.
