P1-SC or D1-SC ????

P1-SC or D1-SC ????
I have a bone stock LT-1 right now, however, I'd like to build the motor someday and get a lot more boost out of it. 14psi-20maybe, my goal is about 500-600 RWHP, but that's a ways down the road. I'd like the buy the s/c I'll need right now for those future demands.
My question is should I get the P model or the D model for now? I know I'd need to purchase the 6psi pulley. The D model kit is more money and doesn't come with a pro fuel pump or an FMU which I will need. Can the P model go higher than 8 psi?
what will be the approximate price difference between the P1-SC and the D1-SC if I also buy the Pro Fuel pump and FMU for the D? ( I was using http://www.superchargersonline.com as a price comparison)
