A/C question
Long story short, the car remained in the shop while a new pump and fuel filter were ordered and installed (4 days). I picked it up today and there was no cold air A/C. It was blowing cold when I brought it in and would notice things like that since its 100º+ here. I shut the A/C off and went home a few hours later. When I garaged it, I tried the A/C again and it was cooler, but not cold. I'm calling the shop in the morning as they closed after I picked up the car.
Question: Is/was there something the mechanic may have not reattached or switched off when he did the other repairs? I noticed that they didn't tighten the 3 assembly bolts on the air cleaner so wonder what else they missed. I find it hard to believe that both my A/C and fuel pump would fail at the same time when it was perfect when I drove in. I'm kinda green at this and generally don't trust some repair shops due to inflated parts and labor charges.
Thanks!

The AC will not work if the low and/or high pressure switch is disconnected. Check everything associated with the AC hoses and metal lines. There is also a fuse for the AC compressor, which might be missing.

If the AC has shut down due to loss of Freon you will not have 12v to the low pressure switch.
Disconnect the negative battery cable for a minute this will reset the AC control. Start the car it may blow cool/cold for a minute. If there is a problem the AC panel lights will flash. If so check the panel for a code 09 = low Freon.
