Default Best Distributor Options

Car has been running a little funny again with an occasional check engine light. Went and got it scanned and came up as a distributor. Whats really bad is that just four months ago i replaced the cap and rotor! I know seems really stupid now. Well anyways i installed the msd cap and rotor and was wondering what you guy would suggest for a distributor. I really dont want to spend $500+ for an msd one if i dont have to. Any input is welcome, thanks.

Variety of choices..... many recommendations.

Have replaced 4 OEM optis, which is recommended by many......
so I am not limiting my choices to OEM.

Installed this opti from SacCityCorvettes in January '14: http://www.saccitycorvette.com

So far, so good...... great service, great price, we shall see.

Thanks! One question though. It says since I have a 93 I should get the non-vented but i hear a lot of people say that Im better off with the vented. Whats your take on that?

To vent your '93 will require some modification...... my humble
opinion is to install the non-vented opti. Some will disagree......

Okay if I'm understanding the description correctly this distributor comes with the cap and rotor. So would it be okay if I just put the MSD cap and rotor on this new distributor? It's practically new. Or would I be better off just keeping the cap and rotor that the new one is coming with? Any input woukd be great.
