Rear Diff Gear Swap Suppliers
I'm looking to purchase 3.82 Ring & Pinion gears for a Dana 44 '96 LT-4 Corvette. Any suggestions where I can get good quality parts? I'll also need the Drive & Driven gears so that the tranny registers the proper mph.

I've never heard of 3.82 gears for a D44.
I just purchased 4.10 gears for mine. With 4.10's you are still only turning 2000 rpm's at 70 mph.

4.10's are too much for my application needs. I like to go to the drags but I also don't want to sacrifice top end when road racing. I've mathematically determined that 3.82's are the closest gear set that would match ZO6 performance characteristics.

Someone makes a 3.92 gear set, don't know about the 3.82.

I know they're out there. It's just a matter of finding a supplier.

I think you may be right; no 3.82's out there. Do you know who supplies 3.92's?
