Need 160 tsat install help ASAP!
I have the top fitting off the pump and the stock thermo is exposed, but it seems to be in there tight. What is the trick to getting it loose and will the pump gush coolant when the stock tstat is removed? The engine is cold.
Do you just grab it with a pliers and pull 'til it pops out? :confused:

Phew! Got it all back together, 160 tstat installed, TB coolant bypassed. I had to cut the little elbow TB coolant line off it was welded on pretty good. Typing this while letting the HPP III program the ECM to sync radiator fans to the 160 tstat. :cool:
