I pulled my engine over main an rod bearings. Decided to build a 383. Got the rotating assembly going with LE 2 heads an 227/235 .578/.574 110 LSA cam. I need some recommendations on what type of oil pump, oil pan, injectors an long tube headers, no concern with emmisions. All advice will be greatly appreciated.
The stock oiling system is very good and should probably be left alone unless you have reason to change it. What are your goals? What type of driving?
FIC makes some good injectors. I used Ford 24lbers on my LT1 with over 400hp.
I can only recommend Hooker super comp 1 3/4" headers as those are the only ones I've run. They seem to fit well and make good power.
There are many good threads on all of your questions. Just search the Tech section or the general section. Good luck with your new build.
Thanks, It'll be for street/strip , looking to make over 400 HP. Been trying to search an read as much as I can. Getting different opinions really helps.
