I'm looking to replace my stock c4 seats. maybe racing seats. any suggestions? most seats seem to be too wide for the c4.

Corbeau A4 is a popular aftermarket seat for us C4 owners. They're relatively cheap and fit in the bottom width area. They make a special shortened base cushion model, ask for it.

Contacted Cipher - none will fit. ProCar by Scat Evolution will fit along with the Corbeau A4.

Funny thing..I contacted Cipher also. They told me the same thing and recommended Corbeau A4. The measurements for the A4 are the same as Ciphers 2002 model seat. go figure. looks like Cipher doesn't want c4 business?!

I contacted Cipher also. The issue is not the seat, but the mounting bracket, that is why they will not fit.

from what I have read about the stock brackets the all need some "refinements to make them fit. My thought is having a local weld shop make them to fit the Cipher seats and my 84. They would have to cost less than the others. I mean $180 to 220 for brackets seems pretty high.

thanks to those who jumper in. I'm debating whether to go with the Cipher 1007 or 2002 or the procar rave or sportsman They all fit. Either way I think I'll have brackets made to fit locally. thanks again .
