I have had 2 '94's and 1 '95. All of them did not use a crush washer. The OEM drain plug had a rubber seal fixed in the head of the plug.
I checked my '94 service manual and it shows the torque to be 16 lb-ft. (although I have always tightened by hand without a torque wrench.)

for other cars i always buy a new drain plug.
for the corvette what would you recommend to do? use the old one or buy a new one?
any oil filter recommmended?
I have a gallon of Mobil1, is it good for a 1992 Corvette?
Thank you

For a '92 you could expect to find maybe a 1/2-20 plug and that would have a washer OR it could be a M12X1.75 and that would have the seal that "QCVette" mentions, You might buy both and let them understand that you'll be returning one. You could check the current one first without removing, wrench size that fits would be an indicator and a Metric plug will be likely marked as such.
GM # 3921988 is 1/2-20 and the washer is a GM# 14090908. the metric is a GM # 11562588. GOOGLE should display images for you if you need them. I like OE/GM hardware.
