Some jackhole cut me off tonite at about 50mph. I had to lay on the brakes pretty hard. When I did it pulled right so hard I went into a friggin fishtail back and forth slide!!!! I damn near didn't get it under control....... How can you tell if the left caliper just isn't working or if the right one is grabbing way too hard? Or just go ahead and replace both of them? Or is it a possible problem with the anti lock pump unit?
Could very well be the ABS pump or a frozen caliper. First I'd see if one of the rotors is getting hot. Frozen calipers usually heat the rotor. If not, I'd try bleed both of them and see if they both have good fluid flow.
Your brake hoses could be bad. These are the rubber hoses between the frame and the caliper. They are actually a hose inside another hose. Sometimes the inner hose leaks and fills up the space between the inner and outer hose and pinches the inner hose shut. Usually when that happens you will see bulges in the hose, like these:

Make sure the caliper slides are free. Check for equal pad wear on the inside and outside pads. When an inside pad is totally worn and the outside is not, typically that is a frozen caliper slide with a functioning piston.
Verify the piston is not stuck. When both pads on one side are very low that can be a sticking caliper with a functioning slide. A bad/collapsed hose can also do this.
If the calipers were allowed to hang on the rubber hoses during a brake job or were not secured and fell and jerked the hose, the hose may break internally.
Red flag is a slight drift to one side when not braking and a pull to opposite side when braking. I have seen many failed hoses do this.
I have also seen a shifted belt in a tire cause a severe pull n hard braking. If all the brakes check out, swap tires in front side to side and test.
