I have 24,000 miles on my 84 Vette and I brought it to the local dealer for oil change. While there I had them change the spark plugs, and when I went to pick it up they said to run a tank of fresh gas thru it. I left andd went to pull out on the highway and I step on the gas and there was very little response. I pulled into the gas station and put in 14 gallons of 91 octane to see if that would help. I took it to a industrial park and every time I would step on it it felt like it was bogging down and if I let off the gas it would accelerate and if I pushed down the peddle more it would not matter. After bringing it back to the dealer and told them what happened they said they would look at it. That was on Tuesday and they still have not fixed it, what could they have done to cause this? Thanks for your help!
Could be a fuel problem. Check fuel pressure and replace fuel filter. Should be 15 psi , if not then you probably need a new pump or at least a new sock. You might consider getting it out of the stealership and to a competent corvette friendly mechanic, who knows what they screwed up and they will just start guessing and replacing parts.

When I was park and stepped on the gas it would respond with no problem.
