Default LT1 TPS zero voltage

My 93 Lt1 has never idled right has a high idle. it is setting a SES for low voltage on TPS, I put a meter on it, it's 0 volts, has the 5 volts going to the TPS, swapped the TPS with a used one, get same thing, bought new TPS cant get it installed, the throttle shaft has to be turned to full throttle to get the TPS on, then throttle wont close

Got it fixed, had to remove all hoses from the throttle body so I could get the TPS aligned, then I got .56 volts closed, and over 4 full throttle, still have a high idle.

I agree. Do a minimum idle reset procedure.

There is no minimum idle adjustment procedure for LT1s. That only applies to L98s.

Usually a high idle is caused by a vacuum leak. I suggest looking at the vacuum check valve under the passenger side fuel rail cover.

Right. I must have skipped over the part where he said LT1. My bad.

Just a shot in the dark other than a vac leak Have you checked the IAC? It may need to be cleaned or replaced.
