My 1989 corvette c4 has just come back from the shop after new fuel filter, oil and filter, new injectors, new cap and rotor and new ignition.
Problem is it went in for rough running and after driving 20 miles the same problem came up after booting it and the kick down happened, went up to 90 mph to see how she ran and after slowing down a bit she is misfiring all over the place and won't idle nice so you have to brake and accelerate at the same time to keep it running!
Belive me Lenny, lot of skilled guys here, you can have or issue fixed in less than 6 posts here.I think any chevy dealers in the country haven't the technical resouces/know how our guys here have, but it's a warranty fact, they have to give you what you pay for....

That sounds like its an opti spark distributor issue. If you have to hold the gas and the brake at the same time that is a tell tale sign. The misfire also is an indication of a faulty opti. I went through that a few years ago and with a new dist it worked perfect. Also I don't know why the shop would have changed Injectors without testing them that is plain poor mechanics.
Edit: I'm sorry I didn't read the engine so disregard that earlier writing of mine. Have you checked fuel pressure yet?
