I would think it might make a more "secure" connection if you used the "boxed end" of the wrench. There's no doubt the C-beam plates are the real solution if your there frequently

I made my own C-beam plates. Very simple and cheap. Do my plates work as well as the ZFDOC's? I don't know but they do a good job holding the nuts in place. I'm not sure I can wrap my head around how those plates can stop the cars rear end from moving around. JMO

Originally I bent it in half thinking I could use either end but that didn't work so I settled for the open end.
