I knew this re-naming of LT's was close enough together that it was going to add confusion. Here, in Google searches, etc. In a year or two, any google search for "LT1 parts" is going to bring up nothing but '14^ LT1's .

WTF, GM isn't smart enough to come up with new names instead of using the same ones over and over.......WW

There are other examples too.

Like the '70 motor LS6 designation was re-used with the C5 Z06's.

A super duty 455 Pontiac was LS2 and re-used with the C6 Corvettes.

And many others.

Yes i about did.

As much as i despise msd quality, i do run an msd 6btm box to provide boost to my optispark's spark output on my supercharged car.

I dont use the boost retard function (ie. I dont want a blown motor because the msd boost retard feature malfunctioned).

I use my pcm to take out some spark advance with both rpm and map readings (on the 2 bar tune i run now).
