Default Bad wires, need advice!

So I have a 1995 And the wires that go to the starter, oxygen sensors, knock sensors, and one I dont know are all burnt up about 20 inches up from the connectors themselves. I have tried to find someone who can just sell me custom pigtails with 20inch lengths but no one apperently does custom anymore... I have also even thought about buying a whole new wiring harness but apperently those are non exsistant as well since I would have to rewire the whole harness for my inteior and cooling. I am think my only option maybe to buy pigtails and double splice them in with the appropriate gauge wiring..? Has anyone double spliced wires before? I tried looking in the shop manual and it seems like theres no info on this and what gauge these wires are etc. Anyone have this situation before? Any one know who still can do custom pigtails for LT1s?

You could buy connectors and terminal then fabricate to your needs. The wire size and colors is in the wiring schematics in the FSM. The wire references in the FSM is METRIC, there's a conversion to SAE in the FSM also. EFI has connectors, terminals etc. They also display the wiring colors; if this link works it should be LT1 connectors. There should be links to details and pieces. You need enough to qualify for a minimum order so this is where I'd go if I had none or very little experience. It's NOT where I'd buy but if you don't understand terminals, connectors etc. this is very easy.

You will need to choose LT1 from the drop down.

Ok, so then where would be a good place to buy connectors and wires? Wirecare.com? Or summit? Just so I understand you mean to make it my self and crimp the conectors to the wires? Obviously would be better than buying pigtails and splicing twice..? Thanks

Neither of the retailers you mentioned would be a good choice. I believe your best choice would be EFI and buy terminals, the connector shell and do the wire locally.

Make sure you use automotive wire. The insulation is much thicker to allow for vibration and rubbing. It also has a higher temperature rating than common electrical or electronic wire.

I have seen automotive wire at AutoZone, so I'm sure it's available at similar stores.
