Sorta "fell" into place! Placed it through the passenger side. Nice fit, nice finish, and nice feel!! Disconnected some wires to get them out of the way, and removed the driver side fender panel to replace the bolt. Everything was a breeze. Well sorta, I did struggle with the pass. side bolt for a while before realizing that removing that panel would help. :yesnod: Thanks Dave!!! :D
Your the second person this week to install the brace from the passenger's side. I guess I'd better give it a try, I may need to re-write my instructions.
Thanks for the feedbak!

The biggest problem I had was getting out the driver's side bolt. It would run into the power steering pulley before getting it all the way out. With the camber brace in place it was worse because the bolt has to come out further. I had to unbolt the power steering pump to get the bolt in. Then it's a royal PIA to remount the PS pump because the camber brace is in the way. This was on a 95 LT1 car.

Yeah, it was rather simple to put in. I slid it through the passenger side from up top, not through the fender well. With the tabs pointed upward I fed it through until it was about 3/4 of the way there, then started to rotate it until the tabs faced the right direction and then it kinda just dropped into place. I left the wrapping that you put on it on. I cut it off afterwards. Saved on any scratches!! Thanks again.
I read somewhere someone talking about not having to jack the car up. Is that possible? Also what about removing the belt. Necessary also? I have an '89, L98. I don't have a floor jack or stands. If you do have to use stands, where to you put them? Does the suspension have to be in the extended position? It's kind of scary when you start trying to get get a mostly fiberglass car up in the air.
Jacking up the car allows you to use a socket on the control arm nuts. You can do it with a wrench without jacking up the car and install the L-98 brace per the instructions.

You know I have to have one of these shirts right Dave!!? :yesnod:
All of Dave's products are great! I have the cross-bar, camber brace, and truss bar and every one of them has made a difference. You couldn't ask for a nicer guy to deal with either. Do yourself a favor and call Dave sometime. You'll be glad you did! -Jeff
