I've read a couple peoples experiences with this shop, and they were good enough that I plan to send my ECM to them. $189 for the rebuild, plus shipping costs doesn't sound bad at all.
My mechanic sent mine out to get fixed and they screwed it up 5 times! Then they sent me one off a Camaro and told my mechanic "just use it, he will never know" finally I got mine back fixed after 3 months of their BS and lies!!!
I hope someone from Cardone reads this and tries to defend themselves, they CANNOT!!! I have all the documentation and witnesses.
Our only defense against scum like them is to boycott so they go out of business. You would think decent people would have at least offered some kind of discount on their work, being it was incorrect, swapped out, and lied about; but NO they lined their pockets to the fullest!!!

Don't know anything about Cardone, but for the 93 the pcm for the Y and the F bodies are exactly the same part. I have both and one spare pcm for both. The eproms are different. One is DA2 and one is DA3, but the pcm itself is exactly the same.
I bought one (through ebay) from theese people as a back up for my ´93 and because the knock sensor module wasn´t working as it should.
Put it in the car and runs pefect. Now I´m keeping the original one as the back up.
5000 miles already and every day runs better......
What goes bad on ECMs typically? Does anyone have experience rebuilding them on here? I can't imagine the board is that complicated, worst I can think of is maybe a chip besides the main prom going bad.
I would open up the ECM and get a visual. My 84 was acting crazy and when I opened it up most of the copper traces on the board were crinkled and lifted off board. Clearly a bad ECM . I was able to find a re man ECM and has been running great ever since
