1985 Vette equip location
Trying to diagnose no cranking issue. Need to know the location of the neutral safety switch , auto trans. Also working on air conditioning compressor replacement. Where is the orifice tube which should be in one of the hoses. I can not find it in my setup.

Neutral Safety Switch is down in the center console next to the gear selector. Orifice in in vertical tube next to (near) the oil dipstick.

There is a switch assembly mounted on the side of the shifter. It has multiple functions, like backup lights and the Park/Neutral switch, among others. The position is adjustable, so if things aren't working as they should you can move it around for better functionality.
