Ok guys and gals. I have figured out the issue with the heat not blowing cold on my 1986 corvette. The plastic clamp/clip/fastener that holds the door rod to the actuator arm is broken.
I had to take the entire dash apart just to fix a piece the size of dice. The problem is that I cant find that piece anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas where it can be found?

It's getting cold and I need heat.
Thanks

You may find the GM# on some dealers shelves, CC is in stock and there are other sources and "other" fasteners that will work.
The retainer for the other end of the rod is a more difficult find but it "can be". GM # 1224062.
