85 Vette starting problem
Starter will not crank. Battery new, ign switch checked. Inside fuses ok. Going to locate and check neutral safety switch and starter. Are ther e any fusible links or fuses under the hood that could cause this problem ? If so where are the locations. Thanks for any info.

It's possible that the starter enable relay is causing this. The TDS (Theft Deterrent System) has to turn on the relay before the starter will crank. You can bypass the relay like this:
The relay in the video is the VATS starter enable relay, but in 1985 it was the TDS starter enable relay. That function was moved into the VATS module in 1986.
