I have a 92 C4 with auto tranny. It was giving me trouble a couple of months ago with intermittent stalling and no starts after closed loop. I replaced the coil and ICM. It seemed to be running OK, I did multiple starts and stops but kept it close to home just in case. Just when I though it was reliable again this happened. I drove 15 miles or so with multiple stops along the way. After stop number one I noticed that although it seemed to be running normally the speed was stuck at 28 MPH or something on dash, even though I was going much faster or slower. After a start and restart this time all "8s" on every dash indication. After another stop and restart noticed the auto temperature controller was doing some weird door cycling, ie blowing cold air and then hot, and varying the vents in weird way. After the final stop and restart, at the first stopsign it stalled and was slow to restart. Then all the way home at every stopsign it stalled, but would restart. The temp controller kept doing weird stuff, the dash stuff was sometimes weird too. After all this got it home, but no codes at all during any of this. I'm thinking it's the computer, any ideas? This car does have a hot chip in it, but I've driven it 10 years or so that way and never had any problems like this.
