I posted already below under "Weird Intermittent Stalling". I did some more research and came across some threads that mentioned vacuum leaks might cause the flapper valves on the AC to go to weird positions. Right before my 92 goes from driving normally to stalling at stops I noticed the auto AC was blowing air out of the wrong outlets and cycling from hot to cold quickly. The auto AC display is normal. So here's some questions, I hope one of you can give me some insight:
Would a vacuum leak cause the speedo displays to freeze at speed for several minutes while the car is still moving? Does the computer have a vacuum input that it uses and would a bad one cause it to lock up or give bad information to various systems? Would a bad ground or some kind of power issue cause these kind of failures? Should I take the computer out and send it somewhere to get tested? All of my symptoms happen after closed loop, and the car is giving no codes while this is happening. I'm pretty stumped at this point and other than driving it around some more and gettting stuck away from home I have no idea of what to do next.
Thanks,
Jerry Barth
