Wheel alignment on worn tires?
I've waited too long, I know, and my fronts are worn quite a bit on the inside. I need an alignment.
My question is: Should I still get an alignment to get some additional wear out of the tires or will the alignment be a waste of money because it won't hold?

The tires will affect how the car handles but will not affect the alignment adjustment. Todays alignment software compensates for wheel runout and doesnt even need tires on the car to check and adjust corectly. If the inside edges wore quicker sounds like currently you have too much toe-in or too much camber. Correcting the alignment may buy you some time on those tires depending how far its off and how far the tires have worn.

I have enough rubber to warrant the alignment, as it sounds like the alignment is not affected by the improperly worn tires.
