transmission questions
Ok I wrote a post about my transmission messing up in my 85 vette I had a rebuilt 86 laying around got it in all together adjusting the t.v cable by pushing d button then pushing lever back then opening the throttle wide open clicks to its spot so took the car for a ride shifted great very firm and positve shifts. Shifted in 2nd gear at 18 mph in 2200 rpms and 3rd shifed around 35 38 mph 2900 kinda seems high to me but firm positive shifts almost like a shift kit which may be in there I kno the rebuilder said he builds these to be better them oem so I adjusted the t.v cable again two clicks out made no change so I did final adjustment push in then wot so im guessing this is normal cuz made no.difference and he said he like to built these trannys up and btw overdrive comes in at 45mph
