Security and code 33 related??

Security and code 33 related??
A month ago my 85 stalled while cruisin and the SES light came on. I turned the a/c off and it came back to life. I got a code 33 and checked out the MAF and found it to be okay. At the same time I noticed my horn wasn't working so I tore the dash out and found the cb burnt. All was fine. This past week-end I was cruisin and same thing - car started to stall and the SES light came on. I turned the a/c off and started to pull over when it came back to life. A bit down the road I found the horn wasn't working - again. I get a code 33 - again. Are the two probelms related?? Is it possible the security system is cutting the engine somehow and flashing a code 33?? Seems too coincidental to me.
