I think it could be done, but it would be a LOT of work. The wiring harnesses are different and there are a lot of other parts that would have to be changed. For example, the vacuum for the various HVAC actuators is switched by the HVAC programmer on C68 cars but is switched at the HVAC control head on C60 cars.
What is your issue...buttons that don't work? They're really not hard to repair. Post your exact problem and the help will come!
Well, when I turn on the unit...it doesn't blow any air whatsoever and the digital display will display a temp at first but then goes haywire. What needs to be done to get it functioning properly again? Thanks so much!
These controllers can exhibit some strange symptoms when the connectors between the faceplate (with the selector buttons) and the head unit motherboard start to lose contact. Below is a link that I used to repair mine when it was started acting up. I did not go to the extent of the repair in the article, I simply removed the control head unit, disassembled it and cleaned the contacts on both the faceplate and motherboard side. I used a small springhook to reform the connectors on the faceplate side so that they would make tight contact with the pins on the motherboard. I did this over a year ago and have had ZERO issues with mine since. These contact failures are a well known issue with our cars equipped with C68 Electronic Climate Control (ECC). I completed the whole process within an hour.

Ok thanks. Would a faulty contact affect the air not blowing? I guess it could if the button to activate the air/heat isn't being activated...correct?
Absolutely. The head unit is in charge of every aspect of your HVAC. After you've gone through the cleaning, terminal reforming, and reseating of the motherboard -or - adding the wires as per Batee's repair outline, please come back and post your results.
