Just got back from a short test drive and can really tell the difference up front. My GS is slowly getting away from its go-kart handling and becoming nice and precise.
I did take off the belt with a sepentine tool from Sears because I could not get the bolt all the way out because the belt was in the way. I also used the two smaller shims on each side when installing the brace. I put it in from the driver side with no real problem. My 16 year old son was a big help!. I recommend putting a piece of string through the shims(s) because they fall out easily then blind fishing for them occurs.
My son also noticed a big difference with the brace installed. :)
The job was very easy and took about 90 minutes. Having the right tools was a plus and that being a belt remover. I don't know how anyone could have done the job without it because the belt portion around the air conditioner is in the way of taking the bolt out. I will say that it looks tricky when you first start but follow the directions and you'll be fine.
The installation is neglagible compared to the advantage the Camber Brace gives you. Just take yout time and it should be no problem. Great improvment to the handling. :chevy
