Like the hose that connects to the air filter lid looks like the hood will hit it for sure when the hood is open, and i am having a hard time getting that hose though the energy absorber and the black fiber peice behind that
I installed the Forced Air on my 95 in a weekend. You could do it in a day if the weather was not too hot. The instructions and templates are good. When cutting the radiator shroud, be careful of what's underneath.
You have to have the hole saw and long drill bit to do the job easily. It still takes patience and some nibbling with a small hand hacksaw blade. The energy absorber is best cut with a serrated knive, taking small pieces at a time.
Of course, if one took off the front urethane bumper, it would be a piece of cake to cut everything.
The Air Hose from the bumper inlet to the air filter lid will be indented slightly when the hood is open, but not enough to kink it.
A Tip: After you cut the relief in the Radiator shroud for the Air Filter Lid, use some Duct Tape to seal the excess opening. I used three layers, with another layer underneath so no adhesive was exposed. That way the air flow to the radiator is not shunted to the engine bay, and the air filter lid can still be removed.
