Push the button and slide the slider part all the back towards the button. That is opposite the direction of the cable pull. Go inside the vehicle and press the gas all the way to the floor. If you have added carpet or padding, this may keep the pedal from going to the floor. If it doesn't shift right, slide it again and press the gas again
