1994 idle rising
I'm on the same problem, could be a lots of things
Just to quote some
I've already replace IAC,
removed and fully cleaned TB and IAC housing, (absolutely DON'T try to remove TB blade screws or you will broke them)
spray wd 40 on TB shaft
Replaced spark plugs this have made an improvement however not was the core
And still not resolved it...
Others forum Members more capable then me suggest to check for vacuum leaks and get a scanner for a diagnosis to make
And this is i'm going to do in the next days
also yesterday, here on forum I learnt of a procedure to re-set the IAC when replaced, i will try this....

Great i will do soon, so i can avoid from spent 250 € in scanner, for the moment
Check the TB return spring to be sure that the TB blades are not binding on the return.
I would not use WD40 as a lubricant for the TB, it is a water displacement (WD) agent. I would use a dry lubricant or graphite.
