Just got a set from Sallee chevrolet. They are a great cover and there is nothing on the inside to trim down.. :yesnod: $101 Polished aluminum. With all the mounting hardware..
Wow, those are great looking covers. Simple, yet elegant!!
Are they an actual GM part item, or does Salle just sell them for another manufacturer? I'd like to have more info. from you, when you have time.
Thanks,
Fix :seeya

John G 92 received some REALLY nice one's for Christmas for His LT-1. They're similar to that...polished, centerbolt but they have a different emblem. They look almost like the LPE one's on their site...but don't say Lingenfelter.
Sooner or later, I'm springing for a set of nice ones.

I have the zz4 cover and they are blahh. I wish i had a few set of the Corvette center bolts, There is a market for them..
:mad I got mine at Carr Chevrolet here for 129.00.
I finally got mine to sit on my AFR heads without leaking. You will have to do some filing on the heads and covers to get them to fit LT1 AFR heads. The back of the alternator needs to be filed and the bracket that goes behind the alternator should be shimmed off of the intake.
I also had to use piece of hose to extend the PCV vent line and two oil filler caps to fill in the extra holes.
