Default Interesting New Jack Stands

I saw a video on these things but the site had no link. Here ya go:

http://jalopnik.com/these-awesome-ja...-wo-1680463970

Seems like they ought to have some kind of bumper to keep the car from rolling off...

Here's the video. Search for "Creative Idea for lifting a car" or scroll for a VERY LONG time.

I really like that idea/ set up. Like Crowz says.. to expensive. Like Cliff says, my worry would be having the wheel(s) slide off the platform while jacking up the other side. I had a problem with that when doing my 86 last year, had to double up the wheel platform surface.

You can see at the beginning of the video there's an area on top the platform for the tire to set in. Still too much $$$ Probably got the idea from Wheel Cribs for show cars.

$540 for a set of 4. I rather just drop $1100 on a bendpack quickjack!

While the price could seem a bit high is there another alternative in this price range that allows the entire bottom of the car to be completely unobstructed?

Cool stands but pricey, I'll use my old ramps till I got the spare $ to buy some wheel cribs. Who knows when that'll be LOL always need or wants parts more!
