Dana 36 problems after transport damage
Joints/grommets are tight, lots of backlash in the yoke causing the clunk. There are fluid stain lines on the exhaust pipe below so its weeping from the yoke. I've never been into a Dana, assuming they floored it and rocked it to get it back on the ramp what possibly happened?
Can't talk about damages with these people, they called me a liar about scrapes across the rear deck even though they were not noted on the inspection. Its a sue me situation with these clowns. The contract holds them harmless for mechanical damage. Damm hard to prove without some comprehensive evaluation report before hand.
High season in Ft Myers is the last place you want to pull into a transmission shop with an unknown problem, its the "Sunshine Tax" at work.
I just had mine apart for a gear swap and found a broken spider gear. Have no idea how a stock car could break that.
