Anyone know the actual specs of the stock 86 wheels?
Even more important - Anyone know what aftermarket wheels will fit this while keeping stock 16" tires? (just got new ones and don't wanna throw them out). Please give whatever info you can such as who and models. I've been on a quest for two months and can't find jack that will fit this without going to 17" wheels...
I looked at that ebay thing the guy says they are off a ZR1 and fit 88-92 but are 16" = :bs That does not add up... ZR1's are 17" and 88 up are as well... I think he needs to measure that before he sells them.

Not sure why you would want to stay with 16" wheels. The available array of choices of quality high performance tires fitting OEM 16" Corvette and Camaro/Firebird wheel sizes is dwindling. The very best performing street tires are not available in these sizes.
As a point of reference, I believe you will find that stock 4th Generation '93-'02 Camaro/Firebird 16" wheels will fit your C4 Corvette and visa versa. I have three sets of stock OEM 16"X9.5" C4 wheels for autox wheels upon which to mount 265-ZR45-16 Kumho V700 Victoracers on my '98 Z28. I believe these same wheels will be useable for whatever use to which I might put them when I acquire the '89 C4 I am buying next month. In order for the C4 wheels to fit my Camaro, they required a bit of dremelling of the wheel hub. The 16" wheels seem hard to unload, as everyone is moving to 17" wheels if possible. :)
I think these are probably some type of after market wheel or maybe they are off Camaro. By the way, 88 came standard with 16" wheels. The 17" came with optional suspension. Check out FIXVET's 88, it has standard wheels.
