Replacing wiper switch on a '92
I have taken the upper part of the column apart down to the turn signal switch / mechanism. I can see that my problem is the section that typically breaks off the wiper switch. This causes the multifunction lever to not be able to turn on the right turn signal..... so I have to replace the wiper switch.... It looks to be mounted to the column on a pin ..... Question... In order to get the wiper switch out do I have to take the 3 screws out that hold the turn signal switch/ assembly in place out and move that assembly out of the way ??? The FSM is not clear on this.... Thanks....

The basic question is how does the wiper switch come off the pin it is mounted on ?
Does the turn signal have to be removed to get the wiper switch off ? Thanks...

my 1st 94 the PO lost a piece within the wiper switch \ control. Luckily I had a 93 Z28 parts car. yes, you will need to go beyond the Turn switch to get to that pin & repair \ replace.
