Tightened Rack
My rack was so loose I could see it move as the steering wheel was moved. I was able to get almost two turns on the bolt, now no movement. Now to get a 4 wheel alignment.
Is Discount Tire any good on an alignment. Of course I will be there watching. I love that sign that says I am welcome in the work area.
They have even tried to kick me out when I criticize their work, but I just talk to the manager and insist on another, what are they calle now? Oh yea, mechanic, not.

depends on your individual store........there are good and bad in all stores.... I would make sure they give you a printout of what they do and if they change the alignment be sure they don't just "put it in the green" ...... but they put it right on the money. Is your local Chevy dealer any good? .......if they are they might be better but I know some that aren't ........and I know of some tire stores that are VERY good.......
