I found a crack on the valve cover of my 85 Vette when I was replacing the gasket today.
I need to replace the covers, any recommendations?
I would like to stay under $100.
If you're interested in a replacement, I have one good stock cover off an '84, which I think matches your '85. Will get you pix later today or tomorrow. Would ask $35 plus s/h from central Indiana.

I am interested, I need the passenger side. As long as there are no cracks, dents, etc...
Since you have cast iron heads, you can use any Chevy small block valve cover from 1957 through 1986E. That's a lot of possibilities unless you require something that looks good.

Would these work? Never seen them before but found them on CL

C4's may have clearance issue in the wiper motor area if covers are taller than stock, old style perimeter bolts valve covers work. This one on the pic seems a bit tall...
I have taller covers on my '85. They are close but still clear. Pic on my sig to the left. Cheap cast aluminum ones from eBay. Paid $80. Search SBC valve covers.
$114 shipped, but anytime I find an aftermarket OE part like this on ebay, I know it's out there for another 30% off somewhere. Good luck on the parts search!
