I am experiencing some weird vibration when driving over 60 mph. I can't feel it in my steering wheel but in my seat so I suspect something is wrong in the rear suspension/wheels.
I checked and my wheel balance weights are all still there. I have not had any contact with anything so its probably not the drive shafts or wheels, U-joints are ok too. Can a bad wheel bearing cause this kind of vibration?
I get a vibration that feels like wheel imbalance at 59mph, but only with the top removed. I have ordered, but not received an "anti flex support bar" from TTR Performance. Reports are that this stiffens the body as much as having the top on, but lets in all of that great Texas sunshine.
Mine does that too, but I changed the driveshaft u-joints, so I know my vibration is due to an unbalanced driveshaft. Could be the wheel bearings on yours.
Don't know but rears have only 1/6" thread left. Few more months and I must get new ones. You think that this could cause my problem? They haven't shaken earlier but I must confess that i have have had more tirespin this summer than before ;)
