1986 Dash Bezel Discontinued??
I have a 1986 coupe. I wanted to replace the Speedo / TACH DASH BEZEL. All I see are bezels for the 1984-85. By looking at the picture, the 86 bezel looks the same as the 84-85. Is there any difference between the years? I know I can get an used one but; I wanted a new one.

I don't know what the difference is between the 84/85 & 86 but try contacting See4Parts (Pat) on this site. I've gotten quite a few parts from Pat in the past and he's found some parts for me.

...I bought a NOS GM bezel a couple years ago , maybe there are a few of them still around...WWBelow is a used one I found on ebay in pretty good shape for $35.00..The add says 84-89 but it's for the 86-89, you can tell because the bottom of the bezel isn't flat, it's at an angle....You can get a semi mat paint called "trim paint" that matches the color of the C4 interior plastic perfectly at Advance Auto in a spray can..I used this paint on the door bezels on my 89 and you can't tell it's not original...."Good Luck....WW

I use the screws below that have a black washer built into them for all my interior dash bezels, these distribute the pressure so the screw head doesn't crack the plastic...I have never gotten splits in the plastic around the screw heads since I have been using these washers, plus they look great , you can get them at Ace Hardware....WW

- 84-85 are different than 86-up they are NOT interchangeable.
