Transmission problems almost over
Well after a week of work (had other things to do) my car was all ready and finally put back together and my problems were over, or so I thought. As soon as we poured transmission fluid in it, it all started leaking out on the ground. So I took the pan back off to find out why and realized that the rubber piece that holds the passing gear cable (sure theres a technical name) onto the transmission was broken. So after a week of un bolting everything out from under the car to replace the seal in the transmission, then breaking the cable inside the pump and replacing it, taking off the exhaust manifolds and torching out the broken studs, and now this, were almost done. In the morning when I can get down to autozone and buy the part I need and a new gasket ill be back in business and have my car back. Its been a long and very frustrating journey but the end is near.

Im with you, my transmission is at the rebuilders as we speak. I have 2 broken studs to contend with. Good luck with yours, this time around!! :cheers:
