I have an 87 C4, and the rear corner of my driver's side window has dropped slightly so that it catches the B-pillar when I open and close the door. I am sure there is a bushing or roller in there that needs to be replaced, but I would like to know what parts I will need before I tear it open. My car is parked outside so leaving it open without a window while I try to find a part is not appealing. I looked for a thread about this problem but didn't see any. Any help, or photos would be greatly appreciated.
You're asking for a prediction. No one can tell you whats wrong with it specifically. Take the door panel off and look inside.
it could be as simple as front glass stop slid or the widow and they need adjustment, or something that just wore out. but I am sure that what ever the problem is you will not need to come apart to the point of having an unsecured car, so rollup your sleeves pop the door panel off see what's going on.
in later years than your car their is a front window guide stop that commonly breaks, to the point that my local Corvette Specially shop keeps them in stock and so does Ecklers who knows you may have been upgraded, but you wont know until you take a look.
some window parts are kind of generic so you may get lucky
