I ran a new best time of 12.36 at 110 with a 1.95 60'. I borrowed a pair of drag radials and they seemed to help a little. I was supposed to race my buddies 93 cobra for steak and shake dinner, but he had been running mid 12's all night and he said he didn't want to waste my time :D The cool thing is I have him by 3 tenths and he has a 175 shot, gears, tremec trans, drag radials, and full exhaust. I wonder what it will do after I get the tpis catback, crank pulley, and K&N?

Aaron, those are some impressive numbers for sure. How close are you to Fort Leoanard Wood? I'm heading out there tommorrow morning and will be out there till the end of November. (Air Force school). If theres a close dragstrip nearby that you could point me at that would be even better
Maybe I'll see you out there.

I'm approx 40 minutes from fort wood. Your closest track could very well be Ozark international....www.ozarkdragstrip.com. Email me or IM me whenever you get to the base and we can set up a time to meet and I'll take ya down there. I know there are better tracks in the st louis area but this one is only 15 minutes from me

Very nice numbers indeed, and putting most of that 350hp to the pavement.

Vic'89 picked up a mph or so and like a tenth when he had his TPIS cat-back installed. I assume you have a good exhaust shop to fit it up for you. Both Vic and I had to have ours cut & welded for proper fitment.

Those planned mods should put you dangerously close to needing a 6-pt cage, especially in cool weather this fall.

I've heard some horror stories about the catback, but I know a few good exhaust shops that work on my 10.5" tire car. Luckily here in the ozarks they don't say much about cages. I was running 10's in the 1/4 in my convertible 85 mustang before they threw me out for no cage.

12.36 at 110 with a 1.95 60' is good, but you have more in her with a better 60' time. You should be able to 60' in the 1.7x range.

I wonder what it will do after I get the tpis catback, crank pulley, and K&N?
I bet you could pick up another 3 tenths with the above mods. Maybe TPIS has fixed their exhaust issues, but who knows ? Basically the exhaust shop had to cut about 2 - 3" from the rear Y pipe and then it all fit nicely.

Vic

I'm still a little timid about launching.....I really hate breaking stuff.....
Mr Vic89- your half shafts pictures give me nightmares. The tpis headers fit better than I expected....I'll probably try to put on the catback and if it doesn't look like it will line up, I'll take it to an exhaust shop. Sounds like 11's aren't too far off.
