Headers... Who makes a Quality Mid Length ??????
Hey Guys.... Im just full of questions today.... Who makes a good, quality Mid-Length Header for my 1991 Corvette Coupe 6-spd?... I want a product that will bolt up nicely without any other modifacations.... Im looking to keep my car sounding kinda quiet, and I dont want to lose any down low torque ... What do you all think???

If you want a header that will bolt up directly, you will have to go with short tube headers. Hooker and SLP make quality shorties.

Headers Explained......
Shorties: Easy to install, small power gain [max 5rwhp]
Mid-length: Not too small, but not so long as to scrape if your car is lowered [max 10rwhp]
Long-tube: Biggest and best. Will maximize power as well as exhaust noise [max 15rwhp]

Hooker long tubes don't give up any ground clearance and are still pretty quiet if you go through the stock mufflers.
Shorties do squat for horsepower so I wouldn't bother there.
I've never seen a "mid length" anything for a vette. Sorry.

That must be why... Before my Vette was a Camaro.... They dont make mids for them huh??? oh wel.... Im not going with shorties i know that much...

thats just something i grabbed really quick off the web to prove there is a such thing.... I dont know why none of you guys never heard of midlength headers.... Whatever... i guess im the werid one in this post... I know they make them for the new C5s, and F-bodys and such....
