My targa top is glazed, so I thought I would have a carbon fiber wrap done to the roof, here is the problem every body I call in my area does not do it in glossy only matt,,, is there anybody that would know of a place that does this, I live around Pomona area of so. cal. thank you.
Honestly I've never heard of gloss in CF Vinyl. Take it from me, even you go solid color gloss; it'll look horrible. Vinyl gloss shows imperfections really, really bad even on a totally flat panel.
There is different levels of Vinyl surfaces . Satin is way smoother than matte and actually has some shine or reflective qualities. Have the Vinyl shop put a small piece on your roof. Vinyl comes in Solid colors, Pearl, Metallic, Colored Chrome and one of my favorites Oil Slick. Oil Slick syle comes in various base colors but reflects the entire light spectrum
Good Luck
Here in s fl, you could get it done at any of the autowrap joints....not hard to do it yourself....as far as I know, there is a difference in interior and exterior wrap.....check it out, I did it my self....lots of how to vids...
after I got the car repainted, had them paint the undertop black, and the car;s color on top....holding up so far
Thanks for for the input,, I will attempt to sand the clear off and buff it out,,, if it does not come out looking the way it should, I will go ahead and do the 3m denoc
