Cracked Fuel Injector Housing, issues?

Cracked Fuel Injector Housing, issues?
This isnt Corvette specific, but the injectors are similar that are in my Vette. They are the new design that FIC sold me and was wondering if the housing is cracked, can that cause an idling issue, performance issue.

I would have to suspect cracked injector housings would never be a good thing. Seems odd that they would crack like that to begin with- Almost appears that they were incorrect for the car or installed improperly?
Either way, I'm guessing where the cracks are would be potential vacuum leaks if nothing else.
