Upper Ball Joint Cup Separation
I noticed the Upper Ball Joint rubber cup has partially come out of the frame. Tried to push it back in place with two large flat screwdrivers but that didn't work. Cup isn't cracked or ripped and wondered if anyone else done this successfully without drilling out the rivets and pulling out the whole ball joint.
If this has ruined the ball joint, does anybody recommend Delco or just Moog, TRW ?

I bought my C4 at 35k miles and they were like that. Just have to pump too much grease in one time to pop them out. My car now has 172k miles on those original ball joints. If you add grease once in a while they will be ok.

The ball joint doesn't make any noise but the rubber boot has pulled out of the cup. Judging by the grease all over the rims and suspension that's exactly what the previous owner did also.
