Default 89 a/c problem

89 c4 my heater and a/c blows from all the vents at the same time even in defrost mode. I have checked the vacuum ball and it holds it completely. I have about 17 pounds of vacuum off the intake and the cruise control that is teed off of it works great. I do not hear any of the vent doors opening or closing. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the C60 manual HVAC or the C68 digital HVAC?

You need to check the black vacuum line on the back of the HVAC control panel (C60) or on the HVAC programmer (C68). That's the one that brings the vacuum into the cockpit. You need to disconnect the vacuum block and test the black vacuum line. It looks something like this:

Thanks Cliff, I have the c68 version, this looks to be a complicated
fix. Wile I have your thoughts on things I just ordered a lowering kit with new front bushings. I have seen other post where the cut the bushing complexly off. what's your thoughts on this. Thanks again. Kurt
