1993 Instrument panel
Hey everyone, I just bought a vette today, but it has a few (hopefully) minor problems. I'm probably going to be asking a lot of questions, so please bear with me. So the gauges and heater/ ac lights go dark under two conditions; the headlights are on and it's dark outside. If I shine a flashlight on the speedo to see it, it will barely start to come on, but not much. I'm guessing it's a light sensor in there there that's gone bad? Also my car has black leather interior with the 40 on the head rest, but the only 40th edition cars I can find are the ruby with maroon interior. Do I have an oddity or no? Any help is appreciated guys, thanks in advance.

On your dash, check out Batee.com. I've had Bryan fix mine and he did a great job.
On your interior - pick one from column A, one from column B
Joking aside, someone probably recovered them in the past and either got a deal or liked those skins. If it doesn't bother you, use them till they need replacing.
