L98 idles bad
Sometimes my idle is bad. The rpm goes up and down and sometimes the engine stops running.
I can also feel it during ”soft” driving and especially when I’m driving with the cruise control on. It feels much worse now after I’ve changed the fuel pressure regulator to an AFPR.
My EGR is plugged... See mods for more information.
What can be wrong?

could be a bad plug or wires, MAF, IAC valve could be dirty

sounds like a dirty throttle body and IAC valve. pull those things and clean them - reset the voltage at your throttle position sensor. when those things get dirty, the idle speed floats all over the place. depending on how many miles you have on them, might as well throw in a new set of plugs, wires dist cap, etc.. hope this helps -

I cleaned everything when I replaced the AFPR. The plugs are new and the wires are 2 years old. Perhaps the dist. cap?! :confused:
How can I check the voltage of the TPS?
I get a code 32, but my mechanic says it is because of the plugged EGR :confused:
